RainShine House in gb+d

October 18, 2010

In the October issue, Green Building + Design magazine featured the RainShine House in their Inner Workings section. Architect Robert M. Cain collaborated with the homeowners to design a house with maximum exposure to the sun. The home’s modern style allows for more sustainable features such as large areas of glass for natural lighting and overhanging eaves for natural shade. Meld’s eco-sensitive concrete materials contribute to the home’s sustainable-building methods. Meld is excited to have been a part of this project for the first modern LEED Platinum home built in the Southeast.
